Why I Started Vivid Spark
I didn't start Vivid Spark to tell organizations what to do.
I started it because, after more than 25 years working alongside nonprofit and community leaders, I realized the work I enjoy most isn't having all the answers. It's helping people discover them.
I love this work because I believe good people doing good work can accomplish incredible things when they have the right support. Sometimes that's helping them overcome obstacles. Sometimes it's helping them see possibilities they couldn't see from the inside. Sometimes it's connecting them with the right people or asking the question that changes everything. It looks different for every organization, but the goal is always the same: helping them reach their potential and make a positive impact on their communities.
A Little About Me
Hi! My name is Stephanie Helms. For more than 25 years, I've had the privilege of working alongside organizations that strengthen their communities.
From higher education and healthcare to arts organizations, parks, foundations, and other nonprofits, my career has always centered on helping mission-driven organizations build relationships, navigate change, and move important work forward.
Along the way, I've served as a nonprofit leader, fundraiser, strategist, communicator, facilitator, and board member. Each experience has reinforced what I believe most: organizations do their best work when people have clarity, trust one another, and are united around a shared purpose.
